A complex logistic has been organized to allow Paraguay to comply with a delivery of 5,500 tons of rice to Europe. As the current level of the Parana river is shalow for the cargo barges to navigate, Paraguay had to resume the Encarnacion-Zarate train corridor after 8 years from the last cargo train convoy. In Zarate, Argentina, the cargo will be loaded into the vessels towards European ports.
