Thailand Has Stopped Importing Corn from Myanmar

Since early 2020 till the end of August, Myanmar could export corn with tax exemption to the Thailand market as Thailand had a shortage of stock. In September, the harvesting season of Thailand corn is starting, so the Thai Government has increased on the tax to protect its national interest. Since September 1, Myanmar could not export corn to Thailand. Myanmar corn exporters are looking for international buyers for the coming corn harvest season.
