The first export of white konjac from the Central Java province to Vietnam

The second week of December 2020 marked the first export of white konjac from local exporters in the Central Java province to Vietnam in 2020. This shipment of around 30 MT of white konjac was accommodated by the local representative of the Ministry of Trade in Central Java. It is expected that there will be another order of konjac from Vietnam by as early as the second week of January 2021. This is considering that the annual demand for konjac from Vietnam has now reached 13 KMT and production output from this province covers one-third of such potential demand.
