The freight rates from Pakistan to African countries have increased

The freight rates to African countries from Pakistan have increased by approximately 50% since the start of September 2021, and it is expected to increase more in the next few weeks. This uncertainty in freight rates is causing huge problems for the rice suppliers in Africa as they are not able to offer competitive and stable CNF prices to the buyers.
