The price of white beans satisfy the growers in Turkey

The production efficiency for white beans in Turkey has declined due to the climate conditions. On average the farmers receive 285 kg of the product per 1,000 square meters, down from 2019's 325 kg figure.

However, as a result of the declining production volume, the relative shortage of the supply improved the sale price of the white beans to the delight of farmers. Despite the 10% production loss, the prices have increased by 30% and reached nearly 1,000 USD per ton.
