Russia: 11% of vegetable crops remained to be collected in Lviv Oblast

As of November 8 of the current year, 11% of the area of vegetable crops remained to be harvested in the fields of the region, namely cabbage on an area of 4.7 thousand hectares. In total, farms of all categories have already collected more than 661,000 tons of vegetable crops from an area of 38.3 thousand Ha. This is reported in the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of Lviv Oblast. It is clarified that in the total area of growing vegetables in Ukraine, the share of Lviv Oblast is 10.7%, in particular by crops: cabbage 23.0%, carrots 11.5%, beets 11.9%. Cabbage (33%), cucumbers and tomatoes (19%), others (17%), carrots (11%), table beets (10%) and onions (10%) are the structure of cultivation areas in farms of all categories.
