On June 6, a presentation of Cambodian agricultural products and a signing ceremony for dried fruit, durian, and paper industry supply chain cooperation was held in Beihai City, Guangxi. Local Guangxi enterprises signed purchase agreements and trade cooperation framework agreements with Cambodian enterprises, with a total transaction value of over 1.6 billion yuan for dried mangoes and durians.
Chen Zhengrong, the China representative of Cambodia's Sunshine of Asia Fruit Company, stated that 2025 will be a critical year for Cambodian durians. His company will ensure high-quality source goods, layout warehousing and logistics supply chain systems, build cold chain systems, and develop diversified fruit products, with more Cambodian fruits expected to enter the Chinese market.
Official Guangxi data shows that from January to April 2025, the total import and export volume between Guangxi and Cambodia reached 2.16 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. Main products include high-quality agricultural products such as cashews, bananas, longans, and nuts. Guangxi has become an important distribution center for Cambodian agricultural products entering China. From January to April, the total import and export volume between Beihai City and Cambodia reached 99 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 277.29%.
After the signing ceremony, a work promotion meeting for the China-Cambodia Industrial Park Beihai District was held, where both sides reached a consensus on key matters such as the site selection for the Cambodian industrial park and the opening time of the China-Cambodia industrial park.
