Egyptian food industry exports to Canada have seen a significant increase, with a 7.7% rise to $14 million in the first 7 months of this year. This represents a 0.6% share of the total Egyptian food exports. The most notable increase was in the export of molasses molasses, which increased by 14% to $1.8 million. Other significant exports include frozen vegetables, oils and aromatic products, oil seeds and fruits, pickled and processed olives, salt, chocolate, and vegetable preparations. The total food industry exports to Canada have been on a consistent growth trajectory since 2014, increasing from $4 million to $27 million in 2020, a 234% increase.
