Turkey: Farmers in Hakkari's Yüksekova district are now producing tons of products

Farmers in Hakkari's Yüksekova district are now producing tons of products from the fruit trees brought from Iran 30 years ago. Farmers in the Esendere town, located on the Iranian border, 45 kilometers away from Yüksekova district, started harvesting apples this year, as every year. In the town, where approximately 80 tons of harvest was made last year, approximately 100 tons of product is expected this year.
