The European Union (EU) is responsible for 62% of the world's wine production, contributing 130,000 million euros to its GDP and employing nearly 3 million people in 2022, according to a PwC study. However, the European Committee of Wine Companies (CEEV) is urging for more support for the sector, particularly in adapting the complex legal framework that governs it.
