Exports of the grains, pulses, oilseeds, and their products sector in the Southeastern Anatolia region reached $2.8 billion in the first 9 months of the year. Grain producers dominated regional exports, surpassing a monthly export average of $300 million. The most exported products were pasta, wheat flour, and vegetable oils, with pasta exports alone exceeding $450 million and Turkey's strong brands attracting demand from countries that want to import pasta due to difficulties in finding durum wheat elsewhere.
