Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli announced a total of 9 water investment projects worth 915 million lira in Gaziantep. The city will also see the initiation of 5 new livestock projects aimed at enhancing crop production and improving pastures. Additionally, a honey forest with 25,000 saplings will be established, expected to generate an additional income of 100 thousand lira and contribute 2 tons to annual honey production. Gaziantep, which is in the top three provinces in agriculture and food products export in Turkey, has experienced a significant increase in agricultural production, with exports reaching 2.6 billion dollars last year.
