From a three-kilometer radius, a family of four gathered bales of straw for a special purpose. Numerous by-products are created in a farm, some of which can be used alternatively. Straw, which is produced after harvesting, is particularly such a by-product: some leave it on the ground as cover, others use it as bedding, or sell it to plants that generate energy by burning it. Not by chance, since the calorific value of straw is close to that of wood, but valuable nutrients are also burned with it. The German agricultural website Agrarheute came across a family that used angular straw bales for house construction. This is not foreign to Hungarian practice, just think of the centuries-old practice of clay plastering.
