A geographical signs awareness conference was held in Siirt.

In Siirt, a conference on awareness of industrial property rights and geographical indications was organized by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. The conference, held at the Siirt Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry conference hall, was attended by Governor Kemal Kızılkaya, President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office Prof. Dr. Muhammed Zeki Durak, and numerous guests. In his speech, Governor Kızılkaya said that Siirt is a city of brotherhood where different languages, beliefs, and cultures live in peace.
