News about the former Soviet (now Belarusian) tractor brand still stirs the hearts of Hungarian farmers. It may not be an exaggeration to say that new tractors are now on par with new cars in terms of environmental protection. This is largely due to measures taken by the European Union (EU), which has been tightening regulations in this area for almost a decade. According to the decision, from 2021, it was no longer possible to install diesel engines in new agricultural machinery that do not meet Stage V emission standards, although categories with engine power greater than 56 kW but less than 130 kW were given a 2-year grace period in this regard.
