Russia: A large consignment of peas was exported from the Altai Territory to the Central African Republic for the first time

Between January 31 and February 7, 2022, the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic successfully exported approximately 540 tons of food peas to the Central African Republic, marking the first export of Altai products to that country in the past five years. The export process involved thorough inspection, documentary, and laboratory control, with the Altai branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution conducting quarantine phytosanitary research to ensure compliance with the importing country's standards. Consequently, phytosanitary certificates were issued, allowing the shipment to proceed, signifying a significant achievement in international agricultural trade for the Altai region.
