And raspberry producers, like other fruit producers, will report an exceptional drop in yields this year, caused by prolonged drought and unusually high summer heat. If last year we harvested around 250-300 kilograms per decare, the 2025 harvest will certainly be about 20 percent lower. These forecasts are from the raspberry producer from the town of Targovishte village Medovina Nayden Dimitrov, who is also a representative of the Bulgarian Association of Raspberry Producers of berry crops. Recalling that the region has not seen rain for a month and a half, Dimitrov adds that the climatic anomalies for the second consecutive summer will affect the production of all agricultural crops.
