At the European Union level, the number of dairy cows may decrease by more than 2 million by 2035, while milk yields per cow will increase. In order for the domestic dairy sector to be able to keep up with this, energy-, labor- and scale-efficient farms are necessary. K&H and Tej Trade Organization and Product Council renewed their cooperation agreement. The previous, fixed-term agreement was re-signed and cooperation was strengthened in Budapest. According to forecasts, the number of dairy cows may decrease from 19.7 million to 17.3 million by 2035.
