"Since the end of September, 502.5 tons of mandarins have been exported, which is 118 tons more than in the same period last year. 19.5 tons of lemons were exported—12 tons more than last year. Regarding feijoas, 210.3 tons were exported, which is 7.6 tons more than last year, and 45.5 tons of persimmons, or 27.1 tons more," said Kvitsiniya.

Data on the export of kiwi and oranges do not differ from last year's, with 3 tons of each being exported.

The peak of the "mandarin" season falls in December, when producers rush to export these fruits for the New Year. Afterwards, mandarins are exported in small batches until March. This is one of the main export items of the republic.
