The Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters' Association, accounting for 60% of Turkey's dried fruit exports, has seen a 17% increase in exports, from $857 million to $1.04 billion in the last year. This growth is attributed to the increase in dried fruit production in the Aegean Region over the last 30 years. The association, which exports to over 100 countries, is the world's leading producer and exporter of seedless raisins, dried apricots, and dried figs. The 'school grape project' in Turkey has also been successful, with seedless raisins being the top export, bringing in $481 million, a 15% increase.
