The 4th 'Double Product Online Shopping Festival and African Good Things Online Shopping Festival' was recently held, showcasing a variety of products from Africa to Chinese consumers online. This event is aimed at boosting domestic consumption and aiding China-Africa economic and trade cooperation. Since 2019, the shopping festival has successfully driven online retail sales in China. This year's festival focused on red wine, coffee, juice, and handicrafts, and included 160 types of geographical indication products and local agricultural specialties. The frequency of China-Africa trade has seen a significant increase during the epidemic, with a record high growth of 35.3% last year, indicating a positive trend in China-Africa economic relations.
