Brazilian beef exports experienced a growth of 11% in volume and 56% in revenue in August, the first time surpassing 200 thousand tons since the beginning of the government's historical series. The sector is expected to see a 2% growth in 2022, driven by a decrease in international supply due to policies in Argentina and natural disasters in Australia. China and Hong Kong continue to be the main importers of Brazilian beef, accounting for 59% of the revenue and volume exported, while the United States maintains the second position, with a 92.7% growth in imports this year.
