With a month left until the end of the fiscal year, the Spanish countryside has reduced the hectares affected by damage by 12%, although more than 710 million euros in indemnities are expected, 5% more than a year ago, according to Agroseguro. The latest loss report from the Spanish Group of Combined Agricultural Insurance Entities (Agroseguro), with data as of November 30, 2025, shows that the agricultural area affected by damage to date is 1,454,125 hectares, 11.5% less than in the same period of 2024. The 710.92 million euros expected in indemnities are divided between agricultural lines (556.25 million), livestock -accidents, disease, and pastures- and aquaculture (66.46 million), and livestock -withdrawal and destruction- (88.21 million).
