On April 10, 2022, Vietnam saw a range of agricultural product prices, with coffee priced between 40,600 VND/kg to 41,300 VND/kg and pepper priced between 75,500 VND/kg to 77,500 VND/kg. Despite a decrease in domestic coffee prices, global prices for Robusta and Arabica coffee increased. However, Vietnam's share of the Chinese coffee market is decreasing, with imports from Vietnam down by 72.3% in the first two months of 2022. Pepper prices have also decreased this week, and Vietnam's pepper output is expected to decrease by 10% this year. Meanwhile, Brazil has surpassed Vietnam and Indonesia as the leading exporter of pepper to China.
