The main exports included citrus, potatoes, onions, strawberries, pomegranates, beans, beets, guavas, peppers, mangoes, garlic, and grapes. These exports were made to countries such as England, Italy, Russia, Romania, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Libya, and Iraq. The quality of Egyptian watermelons and peaches has been particularly noted for meeting the high import requirements of these countries.
