The COP30 will feature, in addition to the Blue Zone and the Green Zone, the AgriZone, a space coordinated by Embrapa in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The pavilion will host around 400 lectures, panels, and technological demonstrations, all with free admission, over the 12 days of the event, from November 10 to 21, in Belém, Pará. The president of Embrapa, Silvia Massruhá, highlighted that the space will function as a showcase of the country's innovations. More than 45 new cultivars, over 30 production systems adapted to climate changes, virtual and physical showcases, crop-livestock-forestry, low-carbon agriculture, and pasture recovery will be presented. According to the president, one of the focuses is to demonstrate, with scientific data, how Brazilian agriculture contributes to the reduction of global emissions.
