The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation has been transforming the wheat industry in Brazil, highlighted TF Agroeconômica during the 32nd International Wheat Industry Congress, promoted by Abitrigo in Rio de Janeiro. In the panel “From data to value: AI and automation innovating the wheat industry,” experts discussed how data and technology increase efficiency, reduce losses, and allow for a better understanding of consumer behavior. Edson Palorca showed practical applications of AI in industry 4.0, such as automated loading systems, precise bagging machines, and sealing sensors, which bring concrete gains to manufacturing plants. “Today we already see automated bulk loading systems, precise application of bags in bagging machines, and the use of sensors to ensure the correct sealing of packages.
