The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) has warned this Friday of the possible presence of a dangerous bacteria (Bacillus cereus) in Nestlé infant formula milk powder, which has withdrawn the product. Aesan has been informed by Catalonia, through the Coordinated Rapid Information Exchange System (Sciri), of the possible presence of this bacteria in the Nestlé brand product Nidina 1 with a best before date of October 2027. Originating from the Netherlands, the product packaged in a can weighs 800 grams and its batch number is 52900346AB, according to the published information. The agency has recommended that people who have this infant formula milk powder at home refrain from consuming it.
