An interdepartmental group will review the protocols of checks on perennial plantings damaged by frost

The protocols of checks for permanent plantations damaged by frost or frost will be reviewed, thus refining the affected areas. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Takhov during a meeting with representatives of the "Fruits" sector. The actions are necessary because the first results from field checks of cherries, apricots, and sour cherries, which are accompanied by photographic material, show that for some of the plantations, the necessary agricultural activities have not been carried out and they are in poor condition. He explained that an Interdepartmental Working Group will be formed to conduct a repeated check. Those present were provided information about the issued findings protocols and areas to date. It became clear that a total of 76,897.33 decares of cherries, apricots, and sour cherries have been damaged by frost.
