An unregulated food preparation facility in Aytos was closed down.

Inspectors from the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) discovered an unregulated facility in the town of Aytos in the Aytos municipality of Burgas Province during a routine inspection under the official control plan for food production and trade establishments, the agency's press center reported. The facility was operating without being registered in the National Electronic Registry of Food Production, Processing, and/or Distribution Facilities and Food Additives, which is a violation of the requirements of the Food Act. The facility was immediately closed, and the available foods and raw materials stored in the refrigeration facilities, which posed a potential health risk to consumers, were directed for destruction from the production premises where gözleme was being prepared.
