(1) Pork In terms of production, U.S. pork production in July was 97.5 million tons, a 4.2% decrease year-on-year; from January to July, pork production was 714.8 million tons, a 1.5% decrease year-on-year. In terms of trade, in July, U.S. and Brazilian pork exports both decreased year-on-year. From the U.S. perspective, July pork exports were 25.0 million tons, a 2.6% decrease year-on-year. Of this, exports to China were 1.4 million tons, a 16.7% decrease year-on-year. From January to July, pork exports were 183.0 million tons, a 2.4% decrease year-on-year. Of this, exports to China were 9.8 million tons, a 6.1% decrease year-on-year. From the Brazilian perspective, July pork exports were 11.3 million tons, a 5.4% decrease year-on-year.
