The Andalusian Government predicts that citrus production in the 2023/2024 campaign will reach 1.86 million tons, with Andalusia contributing 32% of the citrus fruits in Spain and 44.6% of the oranges. However, a slight decrease of 1.7% in regional production and 20% in the provinces of Cordoba and Seville is expected due to drought conditions. The capacity estimate is based on data collected from over 1,300 plots and information from the declarations of the Common Agricultural Policy.
