On the 28th of last month, Andong Agricultural Cooperative (led by Chairman Kwon Tae-hyung) operated a 'Rural House Call Bus' to address medical welfare blind spots and improve the health of residents in fire-damaged areas. The event, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, and Andong City, and organized by Andong Agricultural Cooperative, involved the 'Integrated Healthcare Volunteer Association' providing Western and Korean medical treatment to approximately 400 local residents. Additionally, local specialized eye care institutions participated by conducting vision tests and providing reading glasses. In particular, this event provided medical support kits and Nonghyup's reassuring samgyetang to residents who suffered fire damage from the recent wildfires in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
