Fish patrols in Ukraine have uncovered numerous violations of fishing regulations, resulting in significant damages to the fishing industry. In the Kakhovsky Reservoir, individuals were found illegally fishing with nets, catching various types of fish and causing 633,000 hryvnias in damages. Similar violations were also found in other regions, including Kherson and Chernihiv, where perpetrators were caught poaching and causing significant financial losses. The State Fisheries Agency urges fishermen to responsibly and sustainably manage aquatic resources to protect and replenish stocks.
