The Gyeongsangbuk-do Federation of Rural Leaders in Korea (President Jang Ho-won) held the "2025 Gyeongsangbuk-do Conference for Korean Rural Leaders" on last month's 18th at the Gumi Park Jeong-hee Gymnasium, with over 5,000 members from 22 cities and counties in attendance. This conference, themed "APEC and Gyeongbuk Leaping Forward, Opening the Future of Agriculture Together," was organized in preparation for the APEC Summit to be held in Gyeongju in October, aiming to strengthen the global competitiveness of Gyeongbuk agriculture and to prepare the role of rural leaders in leading future agriculture. The event opened with an APEC promotional video and a 3D art media performance for North Korea, followed by commendations for outstanding members, vision performances, agricultural product exhibitions, and harmony events.
