PALMA, Jul 13 (EUROPA PRESS) - The Balearic Islands Traditional Food Commission, attached to the Government's Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, has approved this Tuesday the inclusion of the Porreres apricot and Ibiza honey in the Catalog of Traditional Foods of the Islands. As explained by the Government in a press release, during the meeting the Regional Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mae de la Concha, the General Director of Policies for Food Sovereignty, Paula Valero, the heads of service of the Quality Institute participated. Agroalimenaria y Agricultura, representatives of the Porreres City Council and the Ibiza Farmers Association. With these two new additions, the Catalog already has 28 registered foods, of which 16 belong to Mallorca.
