In 2024, the National Dairy Directorate (DNL) of Argentina's Ministry of Economy focused on enhancing the dairy sector by promoting good dairy practices, leading to the certification of two dairy farms under the IRAM 14400 standard, a practice aimed at ensuring milk safety and quality, animal welfare, and environmental care. This achievement is the first of its kind after the standard's two-year existence. Additionally, the DNL implemented a genetic improvement program for the national dairy herd and established product-value financing lines for dairy farmers, marking a significant advancement in the sector.
