Argentine soybean processors are facing a difficult year due to a decline in oilseed crops from drought in Argentina and exporting countries, as well as a decrease in soybean sales by farmers. As a result, the volume of soybean product exports from Argentina has significantly reduced. From January to July, soybean oil exports decreased by 28% and soybean meal exports decreased by 9%. The main reduction in soybean oil exports is due to increased production for biodiesel.
