The National Forest and Wildlife Service (Serfor) highlighted the successful participation of six artisans from Cusco, Puno, Ayacucho, and Arequipa in the National Handicraft Fair "From Our Hands 2025," organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), where they sold vicuña fiber garments for more than S/68,800, according to the official report from the organizers. The most demanded products were vicuña fiber hats, gloves, caps, mittens, and shawls, reaching a total of 60 garments sold. Among the most outstanding artisans in sales are Eulogio Sumire (Cusco) and Alejandrina Mercado (Arequipa).
