The import volume of frozen Turkish trout in July increased by 11% year-on-year to 423 tons, close to the import volume of Chilean trout.
The import volume of frozen Russian red salmon in July was 621 tons, up 83% year-on-year. From January to July this year, the cumulative import volume increased by 46% year-on-year.
The import volume of frozen Chilean salmon fillets in July was 1400 tons, down 23% year-on-year. The import volume from the United States increased by 36% year-on-year to 218 tons; the import volume from Russia increased by 25% year-on-year to 179 tons; the import volume from Norway increased to nine times the previous amount, reaching 91 tons.
The total import volume of frozen Chilean trout fillets in July was 1366 tons, down 25% year-on-year. The import volume of Norwegian products increased significantly, up 4.6 times year-on-year to 130 tons.
