As of November 25, Ukrainian agrarians have sown 6,429.9 thousand hectares of winter crops. This is 98.1% of the projected areas.
Specifically, the following has been sown:
winter wheat – 4,692.8 thousand hectares;
winter barley – 586.1 thousand hectares;
winter rye – 66.3 thousand hectares.
Among the leaders in sowing grain crops are the Chernivtsi and Cherkasy regions.
Sowing of grains has already been completed in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, and Chernihiv regions.
Agricultural producers in all regions have virtually completed the sowing of winter rapeseed. 1,084.7 thousand hectares have been sown, which constitutes 96.5% of the projected areas.
