(Buyeo=Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Jun-ho = On the 27th, it was announced that the Buyeo County in South Chungcheong Province will hold the "2025 Mushroom and Shiitake Festival" from October 31 to November 2 at the Seongmun Parking Lot in Sedong Park.
The festival will feature a special exhibition of the county's representative mushroom varieties, a shiitake mushroom cultivation history hall, a mushroom cuisine display, and various other exhibitions. There will also be experiential events for families, including face painting, calligraphy, and coloring activities.
A direct mushroom market will be set up where visitors can purchase and taste fresh mushrooms such as shiitake, shiitake, enoki, and oyster mushrooms. Various prize events, such as "Roll the Roulette GoGo!", will be held for those who purchase shiitake or shiitake mushrooms for 10,000 won or more.
Local specialty processed products such as shiitake bread, shiitake bread, and mushroom salt will also be sold.
