This is an increase of 117 million won over the sales from last year's festival (1.09 billion won).
The number of visitors was 311,000, an increase of 46,000 from the 265,000 visitors last year.
The county explained that these results were achieved by organizing the program with various chili-themed experiences, performances, and exhibitions tailored to different generations.
County head Song In-heon said, "We will create a festival that makes agriculture, tourism, and the local economy circulate in a virtuous cycle."
