The National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA) will hold the third edition of the International Goat Convention from November 26 to 28 in the city of Huamanga, Ayacucho region. The academic meeting will bring together experts from Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, who will share experiences and knowledge aimed at promoting the sustainable development of goat farming in the region and the country. The academic meeting, which is part of the strategies of the INIA goat project Procap, aims to disseminate and promote research, innovation, and technologies on goat activity that allow livestock producers to improve the quality and competitiveness of goat meat and milk. In addition, it seeks to ensure easy access to the generated technologies and promote their adoption for the strengthening of goat farming as a profitable and sustainable chain.
