Azerbaijan plans to supply chicken meat to Russia

Azerbaijani chicken meat producers intend to begin supplying their products to the Russian market. As the Sputnik Azerbaijan news agency reports, the head of the Republican Association of Producers and Exporters of Poultry Meat and Eggs, Myurvyat Hasanli, spoke about this. He noted that expanding exports by local enterprises will require updating existing poultry farms and expanding production areas. In particular, he hopes that the authorities will allow the construction of facilities on agricultural plots that are unsuitable for the cultivation of crops. “In this way, we will be able to seriously expand meat production and even sell it to other countries,” Hasanli noted. He also recalled that the country's Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov issued an order to extend subsidies to equipment for the production of poultry meat.
