REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JEMBER -- East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa provided agricultural tools and machinery (alsintan) to farming groups (poktan) and joint farming groups (gapoktan) in Sukorejo Village, Jember Regency to realize food sovereignty in the local province. "The distribution of alsintan assistance is part of the efforts of the East Java Provincial Government to realize food sovereignty and simultaneously develop the agropolitan area in East Java, particularly in Jember Regency," said Khofifah in a statement in Jember, Friday. The alsintan assistance distributed consisted of five units of cultivators, nine units of two-wheel handtractors, one unit of a rotary handtractor, and three units of large combine harvesters.
