In the first quarter of 2023, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Bashkortostan has successfully exported 27,748 tons of granulated sunflower meal to the European Union, with shipments going to Germany, Latvia, the Netherlands, and Norway. A total of 398 batch samples from major oil extraction enterprises in the region have been tested at the Bashkir Testing Laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “ARRIAH”, confirming that the product meets EU and importing countries' standards. This represents an increase in exports compared to the same period in 2022, which saw 28,040 tons shipped to several EU countries. The State Supervisory Agency has issued 398 export phytosanitary certificates for the sunflower meal by-products, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
