From January 9 to September 10, 2024, Bashkiria, a region in Russia, inspected and processed 212 batches of seeds for export to the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union, a threefold increase from the previous year. A total of 4,282 tons of seeds, including vetch, sweet clover, oats, wheat, and barley, were inspected and found to meet the quarantine phytosanitary requirements of the importing countries. This initiative is part of Russia's national project 'International cooperation and export', which aims to increase the export of non-raw material, non-energy goods by at least 70% by 2030 compared to 2020.
