StoneX, a global financial services company, has maintained its projections for the biodiesel market. According to the survey, consumption is expected to reach 9.8 million m³ in 2025, an increase of 9.0% from the previous year. For 2026, the base scenario indicates an advance of 6.4%, totaling 10.5 million m³, while the alternative scenario — which considers the introduction of B16 in line with CNPE guidelines — projects consumption close to 11 million m³, in addition to raising soybean oil use by about 1 million tons. The estimates gain strength after the sector registered a new sales record: 914 thousand m³ in October, according to recent data from ANP. From January to October, the volume sold reached 8.1 million m³, a growth of 6.7% compared to the 7.6 million recorded in the same period of 2024.
