In July, Chile's bottled wine exports surged by 38.2% in volume and 25.4% in value compared to the same month in 2023, reaching 5.2 million cases worth US$150 million, the highest since August 2022. Despite this growth, the average price per case dropped by 9.2% to US$28.7. Cumulatively, exports up to July rose by 14.1% in volume and 6.3% in value, totaling 27.1 million cases worth US$747 million. Over the past year, 45.5 million cases were shipped, with a slight volume decrease and a 4.3% value drop. Brazil emerged as a key market with significant growth, while the USA, Japan, and the UK also saw increases. Conversely, China and Canada experienced declines, though South Korea, China, and Canada had the highest average prices.
